Print Lyrics

Now's time, for one to confess
The wrongdoings done, purify the soul...
As heart, for one does possess,
Good virtues, rectify this world.

Fate only can tell,
If one's chosen to aboard three
Hundred cubits...

Giving us this one last chance,
A final call to change our stance...

Two thousand five,
Our prayers must reach the heavens!

Follow light that guides our way,
No need to fear our judgment day...

Olive leaf, for this life, oh Lord

The pain, one holds deep inside,
The welling up tears, will disappear...
The dread, one lives here beside,
Be conquered, storming skies will clear...

Fate only can tell,
If one's chosen to aboard three
Hundred cubits...

Destiny will speak for us,
God's own hand will care for us...

Two thousand five,
Our prayers must reach the heavens!

In the face of death may find
Love for life that's true and kind...

There's relief, no more strife, oh Lord

Fate only can tell,
if one's chosen to aboard three,
hundred cubits...

Giving us this one last chance,
A final call to change our stance...

Two thousand five,
Our prayers must reach the heavens!

Follow light that guides our way,
No need to fear our judgment day...

Olive leaf, for this life, oh Lord

Destiny will speak for us,
God's own hand will care for us...

Two thousand five,
Our prayers must reach the heavens!

In the face of death may find,
Love for life that's true and kind...

There's relief, no more strife, oh Lord

Oasis Heart3's Note:
[!!] This song is 100% English, but the CD booklet also gave a "Japanese translation". This was done in case a Japanese person, who can't read/understand English, wants to know what's being said.

*UPDATED* (Nov-25-2007)
The "Japanese translation" has FINALLY been translated back into English! (^^) These lyrics are much prettier and make a bit more sense than the original version:
Read "Ark" [the Japanese "translation"]

*ADDED* (Aug-1-2007)
I keep seeing this name spelled as "ranka" AND "lanka" (it seems to change on every CD). The Japanese get the letters "L" and "R" mixed up a LOT, because their Ra-Ri-Ru-Re-Ro section sounds like a cross between "L" and "R".

So yeah...I have no clue what the lyricist's real name is. So I wrote it as "Lanka" in these lyrics, because that's how they were credited on the "Goldenvine" CD.
