Print Lyrics

Mishiranu asa BEDDO (Bed) no ue de
Tabibito datta jibun ni kizuku
Mishiranu machi ichi wa owari
Tougemichi o nibasha wa kaeru

Saa doko e yukou kyou [1]

Mada Shangri-La sagashiteru
Sora to umi no kono kuni de
Surechigau hadashi no shounen ga warau

Itadaki ni wa tokenai yuki
Chiisa sugiru jibun ni kizuku
Tsugi no kisetsu waraeta nara
Kimi no moto e kanarazu kaeru

Sou tsubame mitai ni ano

Mada Shangri-La sagashiteru
Sora to umi no hate made
Kono machi de tooi haru wa matsu haruka

Mada Shangri-La sagashiteru
Sora to umi no kono kuni de
Surechigau hadashi no shounen ga warau

One unknown morning -- I found myself on the bed
As a traveler.
One unknown city -- The market had closed and the
Horse-drawn cart goes home over the mountain path...

Well then, where shall I go today? [1]

I'm still looking for Shangri-La
In this country of sky and sea...
A barefooted boy laughs as he brushes past me.

Snow that never thaws is on the mountain peaks --
I realize that I am too small.
If I can still smile next season,
I promise I'll return to you...

...Yes, like a swallow.

I'm still looking for Shangri-La,
As I go to the end of sky and sea...
Afar, the distant spring waits in this city.

I'm still looking for Shangri-La
In this country of sky and sea...
A barefooted boy laughs as he brushes past me.
Oasis Heart3's Notes:
[!!] "Shangri-la" is a legendary place (it's a village, to be more exact), similar to the Garden of Eden. It's essentially paradise. ^^

A lot of people wrote the title as "Shangri-la Village". But I don't think "village" is necessary (which is why I put it in [brackets]), since Shangri-la is ONLY a village (there's no "Shangri-la Province" or anything). It'd be like writing a song called "Paris City". xD

[1] (from Salinde) Even though the hiragana says "ikou", Akico clearly sings it as "yukou". (They mean the same thing, though.)
