Oasis Heart3's Notes:
[1] To "perturb" something means to "put in disorder". So, if the singer's having "perturbed dreams", then that means she's having "disturbed" or "chaotic" dreams (like "nightmares")...or, it might mean that she woke up violently from her dreams (be they good or bad dreams), because her alarm clock went off and scared her (the first 2 lines in the verse make this theory probable).

[2] (Added 2-29-2008): ALL the kanji lyrics I found had "shite nai" written here...but Van clearly sings "shinai". I'm pretty sure they can mean the same thing, so I just changed the romaji accordingly.

[3] This phrase was SO confusing. (>_<) Oddly enough, I never really got help from Salinde on this issue. So I asked a bunch of people about this...and that's when Salinde said she DID respond to me...but forgot to send the email (she left it in her Draft box. xD)

     Anyway, here's what Salinde said:

"I looked the phrase up on Google and it seems to be used in absurd comedy (because people can't face two directions at once) or to refer to someone as being a petulant misfit who purposefully doesn't do what people tell/advise them to do (since the person would be looking in the opposite direction if you're doing 'left look right')..."

     Basically, the person is being rebellious. If you tell them to "look left", they'll look left...AND right. Which basically means, "OK, I'll do it your way...but in MY style." ;)
