"Kimi ga Inai Mirai" CD Single
(posted on December 3, 2009)

First things first, the official PV has been released! Go check it out!  It's pretty...but hopefully you won't get dizzy like I did. @_@

The actual CD single is expected to be released on January 27, 2010. The title track is currently being used as the opening theme to the newest (and final) InuYasha anime, appropriately called "InuYasha: The Final Act".

Lastly, in an odd twist:

1) The single is expected to have FOUR versions: a Limited Edition "CD+DVD"/"CD Only" version, and a Regular Edition "CD+DVD"/"CD Only" version. At the moment it is unknown whether each version will have a different bonus item (ie: new song, T-shirt, poster, etc.) attached to it. But here is what the Limited Edition is expected to have:

Limited edition includes bonus DVD with music clips for "Kimi ga Inai Mirai," "Fukai Mori," "Shinjitu no Uta," "Rakuen," "Kimi ga Inai Mirai (anime intro theme footage ver.)," "Fukai Mori (anime outro theme footage ver.)," and "Shinjitsu no Uta (anime outro theme footage ver.)." Also includes "Inuyasha Kanketsu Hen" illustration sticker (A)."

2) From the looks of it, this single might ONLY have the following 4 tracks:

Expected Tracklist
1. Kimi ga Inai Mirai

2. Fukai Mori
3. Shinjitu no Uta
4. Rakuen

...The last 3 tracks are not new, which is an extreme disappointment. Even if they do a new arrangement of the songs, it's still not fair. Their fans want to hear new, original songs. Aparently, they really want to suck up to reach out to the InuYasha fans. That might even be why the new song mentions "fukai mori", "rakuen" and "shinjitsu no uta" in its lyrics.

I really hope there are more, NEW songs on this single, but only time will tell. Or maybe we, the fans, could write avex and demand at least one more new song be added. Who's with me? T__T
