Tributes/Covers (Official Releases - Page 2)

These "official tributes/covers" were NOT done by Do As Infinity, but they were sold on CD.

There are two ways you can sample the songs:

1) HTML: This is the original way I had it set up, where you'll have to manually download and listen to each file. Also, if you hover over the links, you'll see the kanji title of each song.

2) Flash Player (and Hear all tributes): This flash player will let you listen to each sample in REAL TIME. (^^) You'll ONLY hear the tributes for the section you're in! Occasionally you can choose between different playlists (especially if the CD is a remake/tribute to another artist's work).

Here's a quick summary of how the flash player works (image opens in a new window)

Click on the 'Lyrics' icon to access the lyrics. ALL lyrics will open in ONE popup (i.e.: all of the lyrics share the same popup). This way, you won't have a TON of popups open. Besides, you can't read two lyrics at the same time, right? (^^) But if you want to open the lyrics in more than one window, feel free to right-click the links and choose "Open in New Window".

Lastly, to make the pages load faster, the tributes have been split into several pages (hence why I alternated/color-coded the links).

    +More Info:
This is a special CD that features Korean covers of J-Pop songs. (^^) One of the tracks featured is "Hi no Ataru Sakamichi", which was done by a rocker/singer named Maya (마야). She also did the arrangement for the song!

This CD was originally released in 2006 and was called "Diva: The 12 Memories of Love". The CD had 12 tracks, and it was released on TWO record labels: Pony Canyon (PCCA-2231, Japan), and Dukyun Industries (DKCD-0601, Korea).

Three years later, it was re-released with a different track order AND 3 additional songs (which I've marked in bold). The CD was just called "12 Memories of Love", and this time it only had one record label: Doremi/skc (DRMCD-2339, Korea).

Here is the track listing for both albums:

*Special thanks to StarCrystal (and Kiwi Musume) for romanizing and translating these song titles!!*

    +More Info:
This is an album by Mon Mon. (^^) The name of this album is 夢遊記 ("Meng You Ji"), which means "The Tale of a Journey in a Dream". Unfortunately, I also don't know a lot about Mon Mon (although she does have a small official site, but it's in Chinese).

I DO know that she's Taiwanese (and very pretty. ^^), her real name is 蔡孟臻 (Cai Meng Zhen), and I've also heard that she's an actress. She also translated the lyrics herself, and she renamed the song 我們都是傻ㄚ頭 ("Women Doushi Sha Ya Tou" - "We Are All Silly Girls").

It was also hard trying to find information on this album; most sites didn't list the "DA" at the end -- but it IS supposed to be there because there are TWO VERSIONS of the album (which you can see above). As for the DVD, it has 6 of her music videos, including a music for "Mahou no Kotoba".

At the moment, this song is not translated -- but I did find the lyrics, which is a miracle because she's a hard artist to find. Plus, I don't know Chinese at all...so how I used Google China and actually found something is, well, a miracle. (xD) Anyway, when the song is translated I'll let you know!!

*Special thanks to Shizuku for translating Mon Mon's name, song & album titles!!*
