Just Go Your Way

After some brutal thinking, I realised:
I guess I'm not
The centre of the universe.

But I can make my world however I want --
I'll paint it and make it colourful;
Come on, help me!

I'm not afraid (just find your way)
Of roller coasters -- [1]
I'll scream (just find your way)
The anxiety and things out of me.

All that matters (just find your way)
Is that I can (just find your way)
Stride purposefully (just find your way)
Down my own road.

I grimace as I wait for the crossing lights to change,
Because my high heels
Are so uncomfortable.

There's such a focus on looks,
But you have to be able to run properly when you need to --
So take them off!

I'm not afraid (just find your way)
Of roller coasters anymore --
I'll scream (just find your way)
The anxiety and things out of me.

All that matters (just find your way)
Is that I (just find your way)
Walk firmly (just find your way)
Down my own road.

The breeze quietly told me
That things keep changing day by day;
You're never the same person twice.

As you go round and round on this planet,
Time will take away the tears,
And all that will remain in your hands
Is tomorrow, and...

[Instrumental break]

It'll take you somewhere,
Standing still in front of the door shining in rainbow colours.
Before you say you're afraid of what lies ahead,
There's a big problem right here ("????") -- [2]
I've stopped running away.

I'm not afraid (just find your way)
Of roller coasters anymore --
I'll scream (just find your way)
The anxiety and things out of me.

All I need (just find your way)
To do is (just find your way)
Stride purposefully (just find your way) [3]
Down my own road.
Just go your way.
Oasis Heart3's Notes:
[1] (from Kiwi Musume) "Jet coaster" is actually something called Wasei-Eigo (Psuedo-English); it's a term that native English speakers have probably never heard of, but exists in Japan. The synonym for "jet coaster" is the English word "rollercoaster". =)

[2] The "????" was actually written in the lyrics as 「○♪?▽※×(;´ュД`⎮□!!!」. Basically, there's a lot of mumbling in the background (which no one can understand), so they indicated this in the lyrics. I think it's kind of cute, in a bizarre way. xD

[3] "Kaze [wo] kitte [aruku]" is a Japanese idiom. It literally translates to "walk with the wind", which basically means "walk with a purpose"/"walk stridefully".
