Print Lyrics

Atarashiku watashi rashiku
Anata rashiku...

Itsuka futari ga mada
Koibito to yobiaeta
Ano koro otozureta
Umi e hitori kiteru yo

Soshite itsukara ka
Wasureteta Keshiki-tachi
Sagashi nagara
Kikoeru namioto ga
Nandaka yasashikute
Nakidashi sou ni natteiru yo

Atarashiku watashi rashiku
Anata rashiku umarekawaru...
Shiawase wa kuchi ni sureba
Hora yubi no sukima
Koboreochite yuku
Katachi nai mono

Anata ga "Jibun o
Torimodoshi ni yuku" to
Dekaketa omoide no
Chi ni mo umi wa hirogari [1]

Dokoka de deatte
Tsunagatte nagareteru
kitto onaji keshiki miteru

Hito wa minna tsuukaeki to
Kono koi o yobu keredo ne
Futari ni wa shihatsu-eki de
Shuuchaku-eki de mo atta

Ooh-La-La-La-Lai
Sou datta yo ne

Mou sugu de natsu ga kuru yo
Anata nashi no...

It's new, it's like me,
It's like you...

Back when we still
Called each other "lover,"
That sea we visited...
...I went back there alone.

And while searching
For that place
I had forgotten for so long,
The sound of the waves
Were somehow soothing...
I think I'm about to cry.

It's new, it's like me,
It's like you...I am reborn...
If you try to describe happiness,
It's something intangible
That slips through
The cracks of your fingers.

You said "I'm leaving
To find myself," and left.
In the land of that memory, [1]
The sea grows wider.

Surely, somewhere out there,
The skies we are looking at flow together,
And are connected.

People think of love as a station,
At which the train doesn't stop.
But we had a departure station
And an arrival station...

Ooh-La-La-La-Lai...
Yeah, that's right.

Summer is coming soon.
A summer without you...
Oasis Heart3's Note:
[1] A LOT of lyrics mistyped this word. It's not "hoka" (- "other; the rest"). It's "chi" (- "earth; land"). Look at them closely and you'll see the difference. (Plus, Ayumi even says "chi" in the song...)

Anyway, since I can't contact Wataru ( I don't know his email address ):, I went to Megchan's site for help. But she made the same mistake...so I told her about it, and she updated the lyrics right away. (^^) Then I looked at her revised translation, copied it, and rewrote the verse in "Wataru's style".
