Collaborations (Page 4)

Collaborations are special songs that usually are done with another artist. They usually aren't available on Missile Innovation's CDs, either. I've listed all of their collaborations below, in chronological order. New collaborations are always displayed on the first page.

Sometimes the entire band will collaborate with an artist; other times, only 1-2 members will do a collaboration. As a result, I've used bold red to indicate who did which collaboration.

There are two ways you can sample the songs:

1) HTML: This is the original way I had it set up, where you'll have to manually download and listen to each file. Also, if you hover over the links, you'll see the kanji title of each song.

2) Flash Player (and Hear all collabs): This flash player will let you listen to each sample in REAL TIME. (^^) Occasionally you can choose between different playlists (especially if the CD is a remake/tribute to another artist's work).

Here's a quick summary of how the flash player works (image opens in a new window)

Click on the 'Lyrics' icon to access the lyrics. ALL lyrics will open in ONE popup (i.e.: all of the lyrics share the same popup). This way, you won't have a TON of popups open. Besides, you can't read two lyrics at the same time, right? (^^) But if you want to open the lyrics in more than one window, feel free to right-click the links and choose "Open in New Window".

Lastly, to make the pages load faster, the collaborations have been split into several pages (hence why I alternated/color-coded the links).

+More Info:
Missile Innovation only did the live version of this song. It was recorded from AAA's "1st Attack -Round 2-" concert, which took place at Shibuya-AX sometime in 2006. I think that Missile Innovation played ALL of the songs at that concert, but only a few songs were turned into "official MP3s" and released on CD singles.

I've also posted the original version of the song (which Missile Innovation is NOT involved with!!), so you can compare both versions. You'll probably be amazed to hear that AAA sounds almost the exact same when they sing live. (o.o) In the live version, you do hear them go off-key (or breathe/pant) sometimes, so you know it's live...but still...they sound almost exactly the same. Which of course means that these kids really do have strong, nice singing voices. =)

Also, please note that the original version is on several AAA CDs, so I posted the CD it first appeared on. (:

From what I can tell, Tokyo Purin is a cute/funny/unique male duo. They sing JPop songs, usually in business suits...while wearing hats shaped like pudding cups. (xD) Their songs are a bit humorous, too.

In honor of their 10th anniversary, they released this song (which is the last track on the album), and they collaborated with a lot of avex artists. Missile Innovation played all the instruments (except for the keyboard and horns). And in the chorus (giving shout-outs), you can hear Ai Otsuka, Every Little Thing, and AAA. (^^) The lyrics are pretty cute too; Tokyo Purin thanks everyone who supported them, including the people who bought their CDs. So, I somehow doubt it's a coincidence that they released this album on Valentine's Day.

18) GO! CRESCENDO

CD cover CD cover (Bonus Charity CD)
KICHIJOJI ROCKRUSH
(Album - 15 tracks + bonus/charity CD [1 track])

+Produced by: CJ Records
+Catalogue #: CJR-001
+Release Date: January 23, 2008

+More Info:
This is a CD by ROCKRUSH (which I assume is a Japanese rock band). If you ordered this CD from their official website, you'd get a bonus/charity CD called "GO! CRESCENDO". I believe the bonus CD only has that one song, and it features Ryo Owatari. (^_^) However, only the first 1,000 orders (via their website) can get the bonus CD.

Unfortunately, I don't know anything else about the bonus CD, and I don't have any samples OR lyrics for "GO! CRESCENDO". But hopefully, that'll change soon. (^^) If you have this song, I'd appreciate it if you gave me the lyrics/MP3. ^_^
