Six o'clock already
I was just in the middle of a dream
I was kissin' Valentino
By a crystal blue Italian stream

But I can't be late
'cause then I guess I just won't get paid
These are the days
When you wish your bed was already made.

It's just another manic Monday (oh-woe)
I wish it was Sunday (oh-woe)
'Cause that's my Fun Day (oh-woe)
My "I don't have to run"-day (oh)
It's just another manic Monday.

Have to catch an early train,
Have to be to work by nine [1]
And if I had an air-o-plane,
I still couldn't make it on time

'Cause it takes me so long
Just to figure out what I'm gonna wear
Blame it on the train
But the boss is already there.

It's just another manic Monday (oh-woe)
I wish it was Sunday (oh-woe)
'Cause that's my Fun Day (oh-woe)
My "I don't have to run"-day (oh)
It's just another manic Monday.

It's just another manic Monday (oh-woe)
I wish it was Sunday (oh-woe)
'Cause that's my Fun Day (oh-woe)
My I don't have to run-day (woe)
It's just another manic Monday (oh-woe)

I wish it was Sunday (oh-woe)
'Cause that's my Fun Day (oh)
My I don't have to run-day (woe)
It's just another manic Monday.

Oasis Heart3's Notes:
[1] These lyrics are a little different than the original version. Some verses were re-arranged, one part was re-worded ("have to be" vs. "got to be"), and three parts were left out altogether. You can compare it with the original lyrics here.

[!!] Prince (formerly known as "The Artist") wrote this song with the pen name, "Christopher". Prince originally performed the song with his group, Apollonia 6, but it wasn't released on an official album (until years later). He then gave the song to The Bangles, and it became world-famous as a result.

...On the "Missile Innovation" mini-album, he's credited by his actual, full name: Prince R(oger) Nelson. ^^
